Technisch Software Engineer

At Acquaint we are looking for a technical software engineer to play an important role in our mission to combat global water waste. As part of our team you will work on designing, developing and implementing software solutions for various aspects of pipeline inspection projects. You will work closely with our team of software developers and data scientists to create innovative tools that help our customers optimize their pipeline management.

  • Designing and implementing algorithms and models for evaluating pipeline inspection data and predicting performance and behavior of structures.
  • Testing new materials with different measuring techniques and developing new analysis methods based on these tests.
  • Integrating software solutions with existing systems and workflows within the existing data structure.
  • Testing, debugging, documenting and managing software code (CI/CD) to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

At Acquaint we are on a mission to revolutionize drinking water and wastewater facilities worldwide and thus combat water waste. To increase our impact, we are looking for a team member who has the following qualifications and qualities:

  • A completed technical education (bachelor/master). Mechanical engineering, civil engineering or similar is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data analysis, machine learning and/or construction mechanics is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive and inquisitive attitude, with the willingness to quickly learn and apply new concepts and technologies.
  • Affinity with ping pong
