Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership 
Develop and implement production planning strategies, policies, and procedures to drive operational excellence across Benchmark's global operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to coordinate material flow, maintain inventory levels, and optimize production schedules.


Data Management
Oversee centralized product data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Utilize advanced tools and platforms for efficient data exchange.


Process Optimization
Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, master data management, and workflow administration to enhance efficiency and productivity.


Team Support
Provide leadership and support to the Production Planning Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Material Management
Coordinate materials from suppliers, manage purchase orders, and ensure quantity control and planning for production-related materials.


Financial Oversight
Monitor inventory, oversee invoice control measures, and optimize ordering processes to minimize costs and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve complex problems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, with experience in BAAN preferred.
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations within a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in an international production environment with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products for report preparation and communication.

Benchmark is a global partner focused on the design and development of electronic products and the provision of services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We work for companies that make an impact with their innovations, so we develop new products that increase safety, health or convenience. We supply these products from product design to volume production and even directly to the end user. This entire process, from design to production, is carried out entirely in Almelo.
