Senior Specialist Backoffice – IHB Transfer Pricing

Purpose of the role
The primary responsibility of this role is to support all activities related to transfer pricing for the In-house Bank (IHB) and affiliates. The Senior Specialist Back Office will ensure that all methodologies are consistently applied and reported on. This position requires regular interaction with internal functional teams at both local and headquarters levels, as well as collaboration with external legal and tax teams worldwide.

Global Liquidity Management (GLM) is a smaller highly specialized team focusing on Treasury operations and Liquidity management globally.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of IHB's Transfer Pricing methodologies.
  • Perform interest calculations and daily global market risk assessments.
  • Prepare WHT, Tax, and other regulatory reports to support IHB operations.
  • Perform data analysis to identify and resolve issues based on control environment, business practices, and economic impact to IHB and its customers.
  • Provide analysis and support for management and affiliates regarding funding cost decisions and transfer pricing practices.
  • Analyze exceptions to business processes and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Provide valuable input for global transfer pricing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as the primary contact for transfer pricing between IHB and tax teams
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, and administration of risk management products and programs.
  • Assist in the maintenance, testing, and ongoing enhancement of systems supporting the transfer pricing model.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cash operations, treasury, or tax management.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask under tight time frames and competing priorities .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in using data analytics software like Alteryx, Dataiku, R, Python, PowerBI preferred.
