What are you going to do:

For our terminals in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Coordinator – End User Services with a can-do mentality to join us in our further growth. You will be managing and coordinating several IT suppliers and contractors, and you are involved in developing IT plans and realizing optimal support for business processes with IT solutions and services for primary process support.

• Translating (long-term) Group and business objectives into local ICT policy and (projects) plans for development and management in coordination with all stakeholders

• Formulating ICT objectives and (project)plans, aligned with the goals of the terminal and the Group

• Act as liaison and technical counsel for OT related project and initiatives.
  

• Managing ICT projects and department activities, monitoring the realization of the local terminal plan and budget, identifying and adjusting (potential) deviations. Track and report out on progress regarding set objectives, incidents and measures.

• Implementing policies aimed at the protection and integrity of the ICT systems and IT infrastructure incl. data in line with the guidelines of the organization

• Participating in Group IT meeting, Steering Committee, codeliver assignments and take decisions on impactful investment projects

• Ensuring the implementation of effective maintenance, operation, integrationand monitor and promote the operational functioning of the local IT environment and local applications
  

• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of IT, adjust and take measures for local applications and systems incl. the vendor management and performance evaluation of local IT suppliers

• Elaboration of approved plans into concrete objectives, approaches and budgets

• Managing the portfolio of local licenses and relations with IT suppliers in alignment with Group IT.

• Ensuring an adequate IT departmental organization
  

• Preparing periodic reports for internal and/or external use

  Your competences and qualifications:

  • IT related education at HBO level.
  • Proactive attitude for solving problems and open minded to new technologies
  • Experience with operation and coordination in matrix organization
  • Experience with IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems
  • Affinity with and knowledge of the operational process, products, changes and equipment
    
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven Project and process optimization management experience
  • Knowledge of networks, servers, computer technology and OT
    

  • Hands-on, no nonsense mentality and the ability to get things done.
