The Head of Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of the company by developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients. This role is crucial for the company’s expansion in the competitive logistics market.

Our client, a leading global company in the Logistics sector is seeking to hire a highly motivated and skilled individual as their new Head of Business Development. Based in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
  3. Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients, generate leads, and convert them into long-term partnerships.
  4. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team to achieve set objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. An MBA would be a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics market and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
