Maintenance Technician Mechanical

What are you going to do?

In close collaboration with colleagues, you deliver an excellent performance in the field of SHE, quality, continuous improvement and Maintenance Performance. It goes without saying that the safety of yourself and your colleagues always comes first (according to the rule: I care, we care). You report to the Implementation Team Leader (Do Maintenance).

Your core tasks

• Ensuring a safe working environment and conditions within the area of responsibility.

• Realization of preventive and corrective maintenance work (First Time Right) that meets quality, quantity and standards with regard to SHE at World Class level.

• Ensure the integrity of the installations.
• Perform minor changes and modifications to installations.
• Identifying and remedying malfunctions.
• Reporting of work carried out in automated systems (SAP).
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance, the condition of the installations and the maintenance process.
• Support in drawing up work instructions.
• Reporting of work carried out in SAP PM.
• Be responsible for working in accordance with the requirements of the established Life Saving Rules.

Job requirements

• Completed training in Mechanical Engineering (MBO level 3) or equivalent.
• High safety and quality awareness.
• Knowledge of SHE and quality assurance systems and knows how to apply them in a production environment.
• Recognizes and behaves in accordance with the DSM culture compass: courageous, caring, collaborative, taking responsibility, stimulating sustainability, providing value.
• Demonstrable competences: craftsmanship, sense of responsibility, safety awareness, quality awareness, image and judgment, decision-making, cooperation, communication skills.
• Wil zich verder ontwikkelen in alle voorkomende onderhoudswerkzaamheden, heeft ervaring op junior / medior / senior niveau.

De beloning:
De functie van Maintenance Technician Mechanical is ingedeeld in schaal C35 afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring tussen  € 36.968,-- en € 52.811,-- bruto per jaar (inclusief vakantiegeld en exclusief MYChoice budget van 6,11% en eindejaarsuitkering).
