ZorgSaam Hospital is looking for neurologists who practice the full breadth of the profession. It is the only hospital in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Southwest of the Netherlands) and the largest employer in this region. The hospital has 3 locations. The main location is located in Terneuzen, where acute, outpatient and clinical care is also concentrated. On-call in the emergency department 24/7 is provided by among others emergency physician KNMG and internally trained hospital doctors. During duty hours, they also provide acute care for admitted patients. The neurology department consists of 14 beds, including a stroke unit with 3 beds. In addition, outpatient care takes place at secondary locations in Hulst and Oostburg. Neurology nurses work at the outpatient clinic, doing consultations for the various areas of interest (including CVA, young memory, headaches, MS, Parkinson's). We have a well-equipped KNF department with 3 KNF lab technicians and 1 trainee KNF lab technician. Every week a neurosurgeon from UZ Gent comes to consult at the neurology outpatient clinic in Terneuzen. Our hospital also has an ICU, CCU and a cardio-intervention center.
