Senior QA engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, your key role will involve the application and advancement of Quality Engineering practices in line with established best practices, principles, and standards. Your focus will be on identifying and mitigating product risks and interdependencies throughout the product lifecycle within and across product teams. In this capacity, you will be tasked with finding connections and synergies, while also serving as a technical advisor and collaborator for the engineering, product, and other business stakeholders. This position is critical for enhancing quality engineering processes and identifying efficiencies throughout the product delivery system.

  • Build meaningful relationships with peers, subject matter experts, developers, and product owners through clear, honest communication.
  • Work closely with various team members, including business analysts and architects, to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Create a network with technology group stakeholders to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Contribute to retrospective reviews, driving efficiencies for faster delivery of high-quality client deliverables.
  • Actively participate in the planning, estimation, and delivery of products, ensuring a structured approach to quality assurance.
  • Programming (OOP)
  • Exposure to performance testing using Jmeter or similar
  • Java /C# development knowledge
  • Automation testing using Selenium/playwrigt or Appium.
  • Testing of Services using automation tools such as Rest Assured,Pytest.

Your team will consist of fellow QA engineers driving the shift left approach within our CDO organization. As a team we are a part of engineering and therefore contribute at every level in the product delivery process. We work with tools to enable API automation, Front end and mobile. As a team we believe in continuous learning and challenge each other to become better at every level of engineering.
