Our client is the world’s leading internet entertainment service with more than 260 million memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries and feature films in a variety of genres and languages.

We are now looking for an experienced  HR Business Partner to join our client’s EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) regional headquarters team in Amsterdam and provide guidance, coaching and advice to people leaders and teams.

Job Profile for   HR Business Partner, EMEA

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Act as a strategic talent partner for assigned functional leaders (Directors and Regional Vice Presidents) in the EMEA region
  • Collaborate with them to translate business goals into HR strategies and people priorities
  • Work in collaboration with other HRBPs (Human Resources Business Partners) and Global

Business Practices (GBPs) such as Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management, and Talent Employee Operations, to ensure a consistent and cohesive employee experience 

  • Plan and execute strategic talent initiatives across the region
  • Align global organisational priorities with EMEA needs
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, key stakeholders in the US and GBPs
  • Navigate complexities and influence stakeholders effectively to successfully drive HR initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and culture, serving as a role model and advocate for the company’s values
  • Drive talent management programs focused on enhancing leadership and management capabilities, increasing talent density, and promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Evaluate employee sentiment and provide guidance and coaching to people leaders to improve overall team effectiveness and organisational health
  • Take the lead in managing employee relations matters, including performance management, terminations, leaves of absence, etc., in partnership with the Employment Legal and Employee Services team

Candidate Profile for HR Business Partner, EMEA

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant Human Resources experience, ideally in an HR Manager or HRBP role
  • Significant experience in building strong and trusted partnerships with senior business leaders and Talent teams both in EMEA and the US is required
  • Proficiency in project management and execution skills to drive HR initiatives
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organisation
  • Strong understanding of both business and HR concepts, including problem-solving skills, judgment, critical thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Capability to influence stakeholders and prioritise tasks and initiatives
  • Ability to navigate complex structures is essential
  • Proficiency in Inclusion and Diversity and ability to apply it effectively within the
  • organisation
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching and consulting in a high-performance culture
  • Possess intellectual curiosity and bring valuable insights to the team and business
