Manpower is looking for a a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager for a company in Eindhoven.

We are seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to develop and execute strategies for our engineering-to-order business, ensuring alignment with company goals. Leading a team of 6 procurement professionals, you will provide guidance and mentorship to ensure efficient operations. Collaborating closely with engineering and project management teams, you will develop procurement strategies based on project requirements and milestones. You will establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms for custom-made components and materials. Evaluating supplier capabilities and performance, you will implement performance management programs to drive continuous improvement. Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including contract negotiations and logistics operations, you will ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. Additionally, you will implement inventory management practices to optimize inventory levels while maintaining availability of critical components. Keeping abreast of industry trends, you will implement relevant improvements to procurement and supply chain practices.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or related field (master's degree preferred)
• Some years of proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, specifically in engineering-to-order or project-based manufacturing
• Experience in the construction sector is an added benefit
• Availability of 40 hours per week
• Strong leadership abilities, demonstrated success in managing teams and driving operational excellence in complex supply chain environments
• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement best practices in customized engineering contexts
• Excellent negotiation skills, ability to forge strong supplier partnerships, manage contracts, and achieve cost savings while maintaining quality
• Experience managing complex logistics operations, including transportation, customs clearance, and delivery coordination
• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at managing technical specifications and complex procurement processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting project timelines
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements in engineering and manufacturing sectors
