Junior Sustainability Consultant Planetary Health

The team consists of 8 colleagues including your manager. With our team we aim to be the catalyst for change that’s needed to help raise the bar for sustainability. Role & Responsibilities

  • support and advice the implementation and development of ING DB NL’s 5-year strategy in order to reach our sustainability goals with a focus on planetary health
  • support the team in analyzing external research performed on climate related matters that might impact our DB NL strategy, and to support decision making on how to formalize concrete and measurable steps that have a positive impact
  • perform competitor analyses in the Dutch banking landscape related to climate commitments and product offerings
  • prepare presentations for various key stakeholders, including conferences, panels, townhalls, and also materials for ING colleagues to use in client conversations
  • work closely together and act as a linking pin for the DB NL and the CoE Sustainability with Global Sustainability and Global Retail Sustainability & CX and other relevant programmes across ING
  • rise above the material, keep track of sustainability regulation and other future developments and be able to plot potential impacts against our banking activities and ambitions of DB NL’s 5-year strategy
  • prepare and facilitate the set-up of town halls and deep dive sessions

Furthermore:

  • Master’s degreeand2-5 years working experience
  • Heavy analytical skills; able to grasp complex and data heavy content, make non-standard analysis and quantification of action plans in a field which is constantly changing (both in stakeholder expectations as in data availability and quality)
  • Sound understanding ofSustainabilityand understand stakeholders’ demand in the broadest sense on this topic and specifically what it requires for banking
  • A sharp pen and consultancy skills. You are an excellent communicator and creative in engaging varied audiences effectively. You know how to generate inspiring content, presentations and short and snappy briefings and reports in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Investigativeand learns quickly whilst also being goal-oriented and flexible in the solutions
  • Able to work autonomously and able to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives
  • You arefluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
