Nearfield Instruments brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop a revolutionary high throughput atomic force microscopy (AFM) system, enabling atom-scale resolution 3D metrology at industry-level throughput. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced metrology machines.

What will you be doing?

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in assessing existing and potential markets, leading product lifecycle planning, analyzing customer requirements, developing product value propositions and pricing strategies, executing marketing campaigns to drive product adoption, managing competition, and coordinating technical product development.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Owning market research, monitoring competitive activity, and identifying customer needs.
  • Directing the development of market requirements for specific products or product lines, including defining product strategy, analyzing requirements, and pricing.
  • Representing marketing in product lifecycle meetings and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to enhance products.

    Account Ownership

    The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for achieving business objectives in specific regions/accounts and supporting pre-sales and after-sales projects. Key responsibilities include:

    • Developing technical product presentations and delivering them to key customers.
    • Defining product adoption strategies for specific accounts in collaboration with regional teams.
    • Serving as the primary point of contact between customers and the division, working closely with regional teams.

      What do we require from you?

      • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering or a related field.

      • 5+ years of relevant work experience in multi-disciplinary technology product teams, product marketing, or application engineering with experience in semiconductor customer-facing solutions preferred.

      • Experience in semiconductor cleanroom/fab processes (metrology, inspection, overlay, and lithography).

      • Experience delivering technical presentations and engaging with semiconductor customers.

      • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to draw business conclusions from complex datasets.

      • Willingness to travel for business purposes 30-50% of the time.

        • Strong storytelling ability for crafting clear and compelling messaging.
        • Excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct effective presentations under pressure.
        • Proven ability to drive projects with minimal intervention.
        • Well-organized with great attention to detail.
        • Hardworking, with a desire to work in a team environment
