Come join us as a Category Manager , where y ou’ll be responsible for developing and presenting the customer assortment strategies and trade stories, in line with the Benelux shopper and category vision. This hybrid role will be located in our Netherlands office in Den Bosch. You will be working in the Revenue Growth and Category Management team, together with other regions and channels across the business. This role reports to the Senior Shopper and Category Manager with a team of 10 people.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Track Category Performance and Market Trends – Analyse category & assortment performance, as well as market trends, for customer business reviews and internal presentations.
  • Develop our Customer Assortment – In line with our Kellanova channel and portfolio growth strategies, support customers in their assortment and planograms decisions whilst building long-term customer relationships.
  • Trade Stories & Category Vision – In collaboration with marketing, sales and revenue growth management departments, build and present our business plans to our customers.
  • Build the Assortment of the Future – Support the development of new assortment by bringing your market expertise to the category and marketing teams.
  • Panel Data Management – Build, update and maintain market performance dashboards, including being the direct point of contact with panel data & local research agencies (Circana, Gfk…).

Your Recipe for Success

  • Experience in FMCG on the Dutch market, with previous experience in Category Management and/or Key Account Management.
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch Food Retail landscape, any knowledge of non-traditional retail landscape is valuable.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Panel data (e.g. Circana & GFK) and JDA Space Planning or another tool of space planning. Experience with Retail Insights Tools (SIS & 7EVEN).
  • Good knowledge of P&L management (Net Sales Value, Gross Profit).
  • Finally, you are fluent in Dutch & English.
