The Global Technical Services Director, Poultry – is a member of the Global Poultry Business Unit within our Animal Health Division. This unit, located within the Livestock Business Unit, sets the strategic direction for the Poultry Business Worldwide and must also ensure alignment with this strategy with all functions within the organization.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Global Technical Services Director, Poultry to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide specialized technical support and guidance to our global veterinary team. You will work closely with our marketing staff to develop technical materials for product marketing campaigns and provide direction for research and development efforts. As a key member of our Poultry Species Team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing opportunities in the biopharma and technology sectors. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating educational programs and market support studies, ensuring alignment with our global marketing strategy. This position requires flexibility and the ability to travel globally as needed. Join us in making a difference in the poultry industry!

Main tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Define, establish, and update technical platforms for new and existing products and services.

• Participate in formulating the company's long-term global product development strategy.

• Provide expert veterinary technical assessment for new product proposals.

• Generate written technical information for publication and presentations.

• Represent the company at relevant meetings, congresses, and exhibitions.

• Establish and maintain relationships with global opinion leaders and academics.

• Ensure technical accuracy and ethical standards in promotional materials.

• Monitor competitor products and communicate relevant information.

• Provide high-quality customer product and technical support globally.

• Guide local companies in conducting market product support trials in compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Your profile

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Poultry Animal Health and/or Poultry production or Academia.

• Previous technical advisory experience in an animal health company or other relevant industry is desirable.

• Understanding of Biologicals Industry is preferred.

• Global exposure/experience is preferred.

• Availability to travel (approx. 50% or more travel both domestic and international)

• Self-starter, able to work and manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong project management and leadership skills.
