Consultant / Project Manager Hydrogen, PtX and CCS services

The purpose of this role as a Consultant / Project Manager Hydrogen, PtX and CCS segment, is to technically support our customers to realize their goals and ambitions in the energy transition.

Our Section Components & Equipment is part of DNV Energy systems Northern Europe, Offshore Infrastructure & Technology with approximately 120 employees located in Norway, Denmark, Germany, and Netherlands, that provides Risk Management, Technical Advisory, Verification and Assurance services. The Section has a staff of some 46 employees providing Technical Advisory and Assurance services with main focus on safety, integrity, regulatory compliance and project management within Energy industries both offshore and onshore furthermore, providing support to international projects.

We are looking for experienced multi discipline consultants to join our dedicated team responsible for Technical Advisory and Assurance services of various types of equipment and systems for various part of the Energy sector towards the Energy Transition. This work is by nature multi-disciplinary with significant interaction to our other discipline groups within DNV.

Main focus in the position will however be safety topics related with systems, equipment and components with a strong consultant mindset to develop services for the fast-developing new markets such as Hydrogen plants, Power to X plants and Carbon Capture & Storage facilities.

You will be participating in and/or managing multi-discipline Technical Advisory and/or Assurance projects with a focus on teamwork and close interaction with our clients. The position will include a large variety of Power to X Energy projects and offers great opportunity for personal and professional development.

The position will include several work tasks:

  • Acting as a consultant and advise our clients in H2, PtX and CCS projects and combine that with the role of project manager.
  • Develop services and competences for the energy transition.
  • Acting as the key expert and first point of contact for our customers on specific topics or services Implementation of the legislation into the industry.
  • Leading/performing Technical Advisory or Assurance, Certification/Verification projects.
  • Use delivery model supported by the digital transformation.
  • Working together with and lead colleagues and experts in projects.
  • Selling new projects to grow our business.
  • Building a network with (potential) clients.

We furthermore expect the successful candidate to take an active part in keeping the section updated with the necessary knowledge and competence.

The team is currently growing and to strengthen its position on the H2, PtX and CCS services and sectors. We are looking for a consultant/project manager, who will be part of a customer-centric technical team and will actively be working on the acquisition, managing and execution of projects, sales and business development activities.
