Role: Head of Engineering

Location: Rotterdam (hybrid)

This exciting company is looking for an excellent Head of Software Engineering to join their team and help them pave their way to success through excellent communication skills and strategic leadership qualities. Work closely with the engineering teams, make vital decisions around the technology roadmap, and help the Executive team build an impactful business around their SaaS product.

Responsibilities:

• Lead growing, cross-functional engineering teams
• Establish an engineering culture that welcomes and maintains top talent
• Work closely with the Engineering Managers to constantly work on improving existing processes and introducing new features
• Collaborate with the Executive Team on determining the company's roadmap.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience within the renewable energy industry.
• Having led engineering teams of 25+ FTEs
• Experience with developing or leading the development of SaaS products
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Bonus points!:

• Dutch language skills are a plus
• Previous experience with startups
• Having built and scaled engineering teams
