Your role

As a software engineer, you are part of the platform team. In this dynamic environment you design, implement, and maintain platform functionality with your colleagues, focusing on one or multiple of the following products:

• ParaPy Cloud: the environment in which ParaPy applications are deployed and end users collaborate with each other. Topics: scalability, performance, cost efficiency, multi-tenancy, task automation, client design.
• ParaPy Single Source of Truth: a version-controlled engineering database drastically innovating the way in which engineering enterprises collaborate. Topics: Git for data, ontology design, connectors, clients for different languages and plugin mechanisms.
• ParaPy SDK: our continuously evolving set of Python packages that our customers use daily for their application development purposes. Topics: parametric language design, geometry modeling, meshing, automated simulation, Web UI and Cloud interfacing.

Your profile

• A passion for creating a platform with useful abstractions to enable other developers.
• A M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience writing code as part of your job (Python is a hard requirement).
• 2 years of experience with cloud software and providers: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Experience with professional DevOps: Git, automated testing, CI/CD, etc.
• Expertise in Linux, containerization, and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi)
• Demonstrated technical leadership for impactful projects.
• Skills to prioritize and formalize business needs and translate these into software requirements.
• Ability to make pragmatic implementation plans and execute these with a team of developers (Agile)
