TEAM LEAD – POWER RACKS & CABINETS


Introduction to the job

As a Team Lead in the EDEV Power Racks & Cabinets group you enable your team to drive the development from roadmap to system integration. You lead by example and will use your leadership and communicational skills to solve problems and optimize team performance.

Role and Responsibilities

As part of the staff of EDEV Power Racks & Cabinets, you will manage a team with different competencies, responsible for specifying, designing, engineering and integrating Power Racks & Cabinets in the various ASML machines.

You pro-actively drive the development and integration work in your team and participate in reviewing deliverables.

Above all, you will use your leadership skills to solve problems and optimize team performance.

  • Manage the resources in your team (10-20 people).
  • Act as a people leader by sharing vision and setting direction for the group.
  • Coach, appraise and develop your team members.
  • Hire and allocate people to projects in line with program needs.
  • Solve resource conflicts.
  • Work with your team members who take operational responsibility within projects under your supervision.
  • Depending on team size perform some technical work yourself, fitting with your background and experience.
  • Review technical solution proposals and technical product documentation produced by your team.
  • Continuous focus on efficiency of the group. Based on this, structural improvements need to be defined and implemented.

Education and experience

Bachelor (HBO) or Master degree (WO) in electrical engineering or similar level acquired by working experience.

  • A few years of experience in coaching and developing a group of technical professionals.
  • More then 6 years of experience in developing, integrating and testing of (power) electronic modules
  • Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments.

Other information

The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design, and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio.

Within the sector D&E, the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, and qualification of electronic functions and modules of these products.

The EDEV Group Power Racks & Cabinets is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of power solutions serving motion functions in the our ASML machines.

The Team Leader will report to the Group Manager “Power Racks & Cabinets”.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
