ABB is transforming into a customer-centric, product-led sustainable mobility company and is looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our team. The newly created ABB E-mobility marketing and communications organization will drive this experience through brand purpose: We support our customers to electrify mobility. It is our responsibility to position ABB E-mobility as a reliable partner and authority in the industry. We are seeking a person to lead the creation of demonstrations that tell the story of ABB E-mobility and our customers as well as partner to electrify mobility. This is a narrative that needs to speak to people. This person needs to envision telling this story on multiple levels, first starting with a flagship experience that wows customers at large-scale events and at in-office visits. Second is telling that story on the go, either at a customer location or a casual encounter. You must be tech-savvy, understanding the latest digital trends and distilling this down into easy-to-understand demonstrations that complement our sales teams. Reports to: Chris Thompson (Product & Portfolio Marketing) We are open for a candidate in Europe/U.K./NAM who is willing to collaborate in Delft, Netherlands and Valdarno, Italy as ABB E-mobility builds out centers of excellence in Europe.
Your responsibilities- Talk to customers - Conduct comprehensive user and market research, including competitor analysis, to identify market trends, understand persona, and uncover opportunities
- Tell a story – be able to lay out a vision and bring agencies and in-house expertise to execute on that vision
- Partner with each program lead to highlight in an interactive way the key customer benefits of that program
- Partnering with the Experience/Event Marketing team for event narrative and logistics
- Proven experience in delivering interactive demonstrations at major events
- Knowledge of the latest application development software
