We are seeking a Plant Manager for a permanent role based in Secunda, Mpumalanga

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

 

• Eng / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Eng is preferred. Civil / Mechanical will be considered depending on experience)
• 3+ years’ experience in advanced water treatment and experience managing staff
• Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification advantageous
• Understanding plant health and managing water treatment assets
• Good computer skills

• Oversee / manage teams and manage production & maintenance performance/output
• Plant performance and ensuring compliance
• Accountability for safety performance
• Maintain effective administration & control procedures including financial control, HR/IR, procurement and stock management
• Continuous improvement and optimization of processes
• Implement / maintain financial control and monitoring records / reporting
• Ensure client satisfaction and client feedback meetings and reporting
• Compile plant reports & attend client meetings
• Monitor plant health & pro-actively intervene
