Automation/Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced automation/instrumentation engineer for global process industry projects. Your job is to do engineering in different project phases together with the project team. You also get the opportunity to develop your skills in team leading, automation engineering and project management.

Our organization is mainly involved with different scale engineering projects for chemical & biorefining, pulp and paper, and mining industries. We are usually doing projects from concept studies to plant start-up together with other AFRY units.

We looking for an engineer to join our Automation engineering team in Rotterdam. Other AFRY offices in Netherlands can also be considered as job location.


The person we are looking for has:

  • Master or Bachelor level automation engineering education
  • Long and wide experience from industrial automation/instrumentation engineering tasks
  • Experience from industrial systems (MES, MOMS, QCS, DCS)
  • Interest in working in multicultural project environment
  • Dutch skills and fluent english skills. Other language skills are also beneficial

In addition, we appreciate good collaboration, communication skills and ability to adjust to the fast-paced project environment. Readiness to travel abroad is also seen as advantage.
