YOUR ROLE

As Logistics Specialist Operations, you have an important role in co-monitoring and implementing the annual logistics plan within CEVA Logistics and testing the operational feasibility of new processes.

You know how to analyze critical points in the logistics process and where possible to implement improvements in cooperation with the Business Support Manager. You think proactively about Operational Excellence and make improvement proposals to the Business Support Manager and our customer bol.com. In this role, you report to the Business Support Manager and work from the bol.com Returns Center in Waalwijk.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Proactively identify deviations in processes and formulate solutions and improvement proposals;
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement pitch sessions;
• Propose & implement improvements within operations;
• Provide solutions in the area of mechanization and automation;
• Support operations in communication and coordination to our customer bol.com;
• Contribute to process descriptions and functional specifications;
• Setting up and updating the warehouse layout and physical workstations;
• Drafting test program and executing the WMS & equipment.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Completed mbo (level 4) education in a logistics field;
• Experience in a logistics or service environment;
• Preferably knowledge of WMS systems and automation/mechanization of processes;
• Good analytical ability and planned and structured way of working;
• Good social and communication skills;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English.
