Develop the perfect software for barriers, weighbridges, card readers and more. It is this challenge that you, as a software developer, must rise to. You develop, test and optimize new software for the customers of ABB. An opportunity you don't want to miss. What are you going to do at ABB? You will develop new software for our terminal management systems, such as access control and automatic dispatch of trucks. You will extend the software according to the Software developer .NET/C# wishes of the customer and make the interface and user experience more user friendly. In addition, you test your work to guarantee perfectly working software. Besides your own work, it can also happen that you test the software of a colleague. Finally, you are on standby duty: when the client experiences problems, you are called. You also deal with: - specifications designs, both at home and in the office. - visit customers to check and discuss the software. - commissioning the software. Your team ...is small but nice. Your future colleagues are 2 software engineers. The software team works on a project basis and very independently. Of course help is always at hand. At ABB you can just walk in on each other or ring the bell via the chat. We work agile and respond quickly to questions.

Your background

You also understand that our service is not finished when the software is delivered to the customer. So you're willing to work an occasional standby shift. Furthermore, you have:
  • a bachelor or master degree in an ICT field, or a comparable level through work experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in software development.
  • knowledge of Windows Forms, WPF, WebAPI, Xamarin and SQL Server.
  • Preferably familiar with serial protocols, ReactJs, COM(+), C++, PLC and/or DCS systems.
