Senior Sales Executive

As a sales executive you manage the whole sales process, backed by the expert product knowledge of The Hyve’s IT-colleagues, and guide the process to a deal. As you are driven by results, closing a deal is really important to you. You are able to maintain good relations with existing customers and partners. You build new relationships with potential clients and spark interest in our products and services. Who are we? The Hyve is an international company that is dedicated to delivering solutions that support scientists in life sciences and healthcare R&D. What we actually do is build open-source software, create data collaborations, provide knowledge graphs and AI-solutions. In our vision everyone in life sciences works together towards better health and we believe that open source and FAIR data are the ways to do this. We are a team of software engineers, solutions architects, consultants, and data engineers with a staff team of office managers, HR, a finance and IT-support team, and marketing & sales professionals team. That’s where you fit in. Our clients include international pharma, top universities, CROs and food companies. We mostly interact with researchers, who will benefit from our tools in their day-to-day research activities. These include principal scientists, leaders of data offices and members of R&D IT groups. Our clients benefit as our products reduce costs, cut out or speed up labor intensive tasks or introduce new methods in their research and decision making. We stimulate and lean on individual expertise and knowledge. Our teams enjoy quite some autonomy and are seldom closely supervised. The culture can be described as friendly and open. We work for and with clients from all over the world as well as hire from all over the world (50% Non-Dutch). We work hybrid and live in The Netherlands. Furthermore, we are a young company with a 50/50 balance between female and male colleagues. Your responsibilities: Selling our services and products Managing the entire sales process from lead to signed contract Building and maintaining great relationships with existing and potential clients Initiating new leads Representing The Hyve at conferences and events in The Netherlands and abroad Developing ideas for driving and improving sales Must have

: At least 5 years of sales experience and proven results Knowledge of IT and/or data management in the biomedical field Inner drive for sales and results Outgoing personality, strong communication and social skills Affinity with what we try to achieve at The Hyve: helping life science organizations unlock the full potential of their data with open source technologies and expert consulting A high level of professionalism, able to work both in a team and independently Your personal qualities can be described as enthusiastic, assertive, disciplined, persistent and persuasive.
