As Hardware Lead Engineer you will play a key role in the development of a new internal combustion engine (ICE) ECU platform Tasks & Responsibilities Definition and management of hardware and base software requirements throughout the development cycle and after release to production Coordination of validation activities, support in defect analysis and resolution planning with appropriate stakeholders Creation of development deliverables (incl Design For Six Sigma) according the Product Creation Process (PCP) Initiate and define risk analysis and validation plans for both hardware and software components Prepare system documentation for release to Manufacturing and After Sales Alignment with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Software Team, Marketing, After Sales, Manufacturing , Purchasing and Supplier) The hardware lead engineer reports to the Engineering Supervisor EE System Engineering with respect to process, quality and to the corresponding Project Lead Engineer for project status.

Niveau Hbo/bachelor

Werkervaring

Functie: hardware software engineer

Toelichting: Bachelor or a Master Degree in Automotive/Embedded Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 year experience in a coordinating role 3 years experience with Embedded System Development Experience with supplier management Team player, pro-active, strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude Knowledge of design for Six Sigma methodology Good English skills are mandatory combined with Dutch (or at least willingness to learn Dutch)
