As a

Compliance Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring the organization conducts its business processes in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and professional standards. You will introduce a quality management system and work closely with the locations to get the locations on the required Quality level. You will have an ownership of certifications such as ISO. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability of the Business Unit Western Europe by Stora Enso. The Business Unit Western Europe is a part of the division Packaging Solutions. You will be working on Business Management level to support our companies within the Netherlands, England and Belgium. We have approximately 1100 people working in 11 companies. Our head office where you will be working is in De Lier (Netherlands). Main responsibilities Ensure adherence to industry rules, regulations, and best practices; Responsible for quality Standards, certifications such as ISO and introducing a quality management system within the Business Unit; Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance procedures are followed; Identify and assess risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies; Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry trends; Take ownership of maintaining ISO audit certifications; Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors for successful audits; Recommend and implement improvements to compliance controls and processes; Managing customer complaint handling on divisional level to prioritize on key account level and strategical orientation; Stay updated on audit standards and incorporate them into the compliance framework; Effectively communicate compliance requirements and organizational policies to employees; Provide training and guidance on compliance matters to the locations; Collaborate with stakeholders to implement compliance programs effectively. What are we looking for? Proven experience in Quality management; Familiarity with ISO/similar audit certification processes; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively; Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholder; Excellent communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders. Additional: University Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Science, Engineering and Environmental Science; Minimum 2 years working experience in the Compliance field; Fluent English, Dutch is an asset.
