Senior Backend Engineer – JAVA – Role Overview

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be part of the IT Application Development team, focused on developing customer-facing applications and ensuring their seamless integration. Your key responsibilities will include:

Participating in the design, development, and deployment of complex projects within the EMEA region, as well as launching global initiatives.

Collaborating with front-end and back-end developers, as well as Middleware Engineers, to create solutions that meet standards, are scalable and extensible, and fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements. Some travel, primarily within Europe and potentially beyond, may be required.

Working within the Scaled Agile Framework for enterprises, you will interact with various scrum teams, both onsite and offshore.

Amsterdam region: Modern, well-equipped offices.

Flexible homeworking options, based in the Netherlands.

Hourly rate: 85 – 90 EUR.

Start date: ASAP.

Duration: 6 months.

Office near Amsterdam, with potential for full remote work within the EU.
