About the role

AFS Energy is an international-oriented scale-up in the heart of Amsterdam. We deal with opportunities and developments in Renewable Energy every day. More and more organisations are striving to reduce their emissions. With more then 1.450 clients worldwide, activity in 50+ countries, a workforce of more then 175 colleagues with over 30 different nationalities, we continue to focus on growth within the world of Environmental commodities.

An Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) is a certificate that guarantees the renewable origin of a specified unit of electricity. We guide our clients through the EAC market. Whether they want to reach their compliance or corporate sustainability goals - together we create the journey to sustainable solutions. In the role of Sales Trader you will focus on the following tasks and responabilites:

Conducting market research to analyse market trends, potential clients, and competitors to help inform business decisions.

Executing trades where you are responsible for execution on behalf of clients, following established trading protocols and procedures.

Building up a client portfolio through cold calling and active acquisition.

Developing strategies to improve performance: You boost client satisfaction and meet sales by maintaining existing relationships and creating your portfolio with new clients and stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree or higher You are fluent in

English

and German.
