And as Software System Architect, you can play your part in this. Your role will involve: Developing and improving (embedded) software for our virtualized substation server Translating the diverse needs form our customers into development solutions. Coaching and developing other (junior) developers. Developing the software architecture, together with the team Ensuring cyber security (secure coding principles, OWASP, PEN tests, etc.) You complete our network Did you know that Alliander is made up of different companies? We are looking in particular for a candidate with: A master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering At least 5 years of experience with (embedded) software development Experience with C, C++, Python, JavaScript, DevOps, Linux, Containers. Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN’s, subnetting, MPLS, etc.) Demonstrated experience in cyber security (secure coding principles such as OWASP) Excellent communication skills in English (at Grid to great we communicate in both Dutch and English) The willingness to travel - time to time - to partners and clients for workshops and demonstrations. Attractive salary and benefits package Based on a 40-hour working week, you will receive: a gross monthly salary of €4.274 to €7.079 (scale 9-10); annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) or 12.8% (part time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. If you do not work full time, you are not entitled to ADV. You can have this budget paid out as extra salary or use it to purchase extra days off, for example. You choose the option that is right for you. 25 days’ holiday (statutory non-statutory). You can use your IKB to top this up. on top of that, Grid to great will grant you five additional days per year to be with your family and friends, e.g., between Christmas and New Years an end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December.
