Project Lead Re-Use


Introduction Within the Plan and Deliver organization of ASML the Re-use Operations department runs the Re-use supply chain operation. In our team Reverse Warehousing and Projects, we are responsible for the operations in the Return Hub (the central reverse warehouse for ASML) and we drive all kinds of projects within the Reuse Operations department. We currently have a position available for a Project Lead helping us to set up new activities as well as improving processes to enable the re-use of materials and packaging, contributing to ASML’s sustainability and zero waste goals. Re-use is a priority within the corporate strategy of ASML, and our department is supporting this objective In your role you will drive (cross-sector) initiatives to help ASML in its philosophy towards a greener future. The Re-use Operations department is part of the Delivery sector within Plan & Deliver. Our mission is to drive re-use of material and packaging within the supply chain, with a focus on the reverse flow from field and factory towards our suppliers. Our main goal is to prevent new buys by increasing repair and reuse. In your role as Project Lead you will contribute to projects that enable and increase reuse. You will work together with your colleague Project Leads in Eindhoven as well as with the other half of our team, situated in the Return Hub in Weert. Your mission will be to: Set up new activities that increase re-use within the reverse supply chain Investigate current reverse processes and identify gaps and or improvement possibilities Implement process improvements to ensure flawless embedding within the operation Collaborate with other Departments to keep the (reverse) supply chain flowing Analyze data in SAP and reports in Spotfire to monitor reverse inventory and re-use activities Contribute in cross-sector improvement projects, connecting different Departments to maximally drive material re-use Role and Responsibilities Your main task is to define, run and embed projects that will enable more re-use of materials and/ or packaging across the supply chain, diminishing our worldwide reuse inventory. In this role you may contribute to initiatives like: Connecting the factory and service supply chains to pro-actively redistribute materials between the flows Reduce waste within the supply chain Cost reduction on warehousing, transport and or administration Accommodate to structure and or automate processes Implement solutions that contribute to the overall ambition for ASML to repair before buy new In general, you will be a change agent towards the operational Departments driving material reuse opportunities and you will act as an ambassador of our reuse opportunities within ASML. Education and experience Relevant Master degree (e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering) Track record of running projects and/or process improvement projects A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and data skills. Preferably experienced SAP- and Spotfire user, or willing to learn these capabilities Able to organize and prioritize workload, and drive for decision making Knowledge of re-use activities and or the reverse flow would be beneficial Skills Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
