Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Since 1994 the client is leading the domain of easy to use HR & Payroll products. They got acquired in 2010 by an international company and they are looking to expand their team with highly skilled professionals, who want to work with state of the art technologies.

The client specializes in providing cloud-based software solutions that enhance business efficiency and streamline administrative processes for organizations. They focus on delivering services in areas such as payroll, human resources, and procurement. Their innovative technology helps businesses automate routine tasks, ensuring compliance and boosting productivity.

The profile of the Senior Business Intelligence Developer:

Excellent BI analysis, report development, data modelling and API development experience skills.

8+ years experience working with data warehousing, BI, ETL and reporting tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight) or similar tools

Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices, to be able to design and implement data models to support analytical reporting, API development and visualisation

Utilize SQL for data querying, management, data manipulation and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and supporting BI reporting needs.

Strong experience developing/working with CI/CD for BI solutions on AWS

Must be proficient in AWS Redshift with the capability to mentor and provide insights to fellow BI team members

Deep understanding on ETL workflows and processing. Develop and maintain efficient and scalable ETL processes and pipelines to integrate data from new external sources into an existing cohesive data warehouse. Knowledge of Zero ETL (AWS), Glue (AWS) advantageous

Participate and be a key driver in the evaluation and implementation of new BI tools and technologies

Educate and Lead: give back to the client's growing community of data and report builders

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language and present findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to identify and clarify analytical requirements, understand data needs, deliver custom reports, API additions and support data-driven decision-making.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all business and technical levels.

Excellent spoken and written English is a must

Ability to balance the demands of multiple tasks while pioneering innovative solutions to complex problems

Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Experience working with agile/scrum development teams

Experience demonstrating breadth, creativity, and innovation

Packagedeal:

Salary up to €6.500,00 gross based on fulltime (1,0 FTE), excluding holiday allowance and other secondary benefits
