International Management Trainee

Stadler Rail Service is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our 18-month International Management Trainee program. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in different departments, countries, and locations to develop the necessary skills to succeed in a fast-paced, global environment. In this role, you will work on various projects and initiatives, collaborating with different teams to achieve business goals.

This International Management Trainee position requires a significant amount of travel, often together with senior management. This means that you will have long days and may experience some jet lag. However, we believe that the rewards of this job, including the hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and career growth potential, far outweigh the challenges. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about international business and who are willing to put in the hard work and dedication required to succeed in this role.

The traineeship starts in September 2024 and we are looking for two candidates who will be occupied in the field of Purchase and SAP.

The job as a international management trainee

• Work closely with senior management to gain an understanding of the company's operations and strategic objectives.
• Participate in training programs and on-the-job learning experiences to develop your skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues from different departments and locations to achieve business goals.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives.
• Create presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with maintenance locations and project teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
• Support the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Travel to different locations to gain exposure to different markets and cultures, and to support project delivery.

What we ask

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Information) Technology, or Business Administration.
• Quick comprehension and high willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
• A large amount of commitment and high self-initiative.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to relocate and work in different locations around the world.
• Excellent communication skills in English, German and Dutch.
