What will you be doing?

Are you an experienced Change Agent looking for a challenging role in a complex and dynamic environment? Then we are looking for you!

As a Change Agent, you play an important role in our organization, with a focus on facilitating changes within our production location. You provide support to the Continuous Improvement Manager in the implementation of a new operating model and methodology to achieve operational improvements. You work closely to create engagement among employees and management. You will be co-responsible for implementing new processes and methods and monitoring their progress. In addition, you will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the organization of training and coaching sessions to strengthen and develop employee skills.

We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, good judgment, and flexibility in tackling assigned tasks. You are experienced in process management, preferably with knowledge of the Lean management system. It is also important that you are comfortable in a fast-changing and dynamic environment, using effective communication and persuasion to successfully implement ideas and changes.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Promote change management and build credibility in the new way of working through direct and personal involvement with management and employees under the guidance of the CI Manager;
  • Support analysis and reporting on the implementation of new ways of working and timely identify resistance and/or challenges in the process;
  • Support the development of solutions for emerging issues and contribute to the resolution of complex issues under the guidance of the CI Manager;
  • Actively participate in combining information into actionable insights for the transformation leadership team;
  • Support employees in leveraging new tools and methods to achieve results and enable sustainable improvements;
  • Connect capabilities by providing targeted training, mentoring, and coaching;
  • Support in regularly providing updates and meetings with the site team consisting of the plant management team and production workflow management.

Business Unit Western Europe

In 2023, Stora Enso completed the acquisition of the De Jong Packaging Group (now Business Unit Western Europe), one of the largest manufacturers of corrugated packaging in Western Europe (The Netherlands, Germany, UK and Belgium). Most of the sites are corrugated converting and packaging wholesales facilities. The Business Unit is part of the Packaging Solutions Division of Stora Enso.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both written and verbal;
  • Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of the Lean management system.
