Team Lead - Handling & Transport


Introduction Join our Handling & Transport Technology (HTT) team today! Become a specialist in tooling and transport systems of high end machine components and modules. This delicate job is covering all the tooling and transport system designs that are required from the first assembly of the machine in the cleanroom in Veldhoven, all the way to installation, servicing and upgrading our machines at customer plants all over the world. Job Mission You and your team are key contributors to the Mechanical Architecture of our ASML systems. The goal of the HTT department is to develop and maintain handling and transport solutions for ASML’s products and related goods over their full life cycle. Within HTT, the tooling team is responsible for the development of lifting and transport tools for safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective transport and installation of ASML systems and modules. As a Team Lead you’ll drive the efficiency of your team, processes and products, by using your technical, communication and teambuilding skills. As a Team Lead your responsibilities are: Supervisor of farmout teams and/or internal engineering teams To own and maintain the team plan/resource plan and align it with project leads Ensure tasks are delivered on time with the right quality and agreed budget Ensure ways of working/best practice are used by engineers. Connect the team members to the relevant Design & Engineering processes and competences Support your team with technical issues and reviews. Together with Group Leaders: steer, support and coach team members (onboarding, wellbeing, training, development, talent management, ambition, succession planning) Contribute to short- and long-term capacity team plan (supporting the group leader) Setting priorities for the team in collaboration with stakeholders Perform and support recruitment activities Perform People performance of team members (continuous conversation, yearly target setting, mid-year review and end-year reviews (incl. ranking)) Experience Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical engineering discipline 8 - 10 years working experience in relevant field Experienced in leadership in a technical high-tech environment Several years of experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment Experienced in coaching and leading teams Experienced with project planning & resource management Broad knowledge in the area of mechanics, safety, ergonomics and logistics. The HTT group is responsible for the specification, definition, realization and qualification of all handling and transport tools and packaging for ASML machines. You will be reporting to the group leader of HTT DUVA Tooling Group. This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
