Virtual Account Manager Lab Products & Services (x|f|m) - Remote

We are looking for a Virtual Account Manager (x|f|m) for our Sales Lab Products & Services department home based in Belgium or the Netherlands (Sartorius Netherlands B.V.) In this role, you will willbe responsible for increasing market penetration at our existing customers focusing on laboratory products. The team consists of eight professionals and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
  • Manage your accounts and focus on either increasing penetration at our existing customers, and/or acquiring new customers
  • Cultivate strong customer loyalty and build long-term relationships
  • Promote assigned portfolio of the Lab Products and Services unit incl. cross-selling, remotely using all available technology
  • Ensure and repeat orders by understanding the process and patterns of customer purchase decisions
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with customers
  • Understand customer's processes and identify opportunities and customer priorities
  • Lead price and contract negotiations
  • Deliver ongoing product servicing by providing accurate product information, trainings & support where needed
  • Maintain accurate CRM customer data and documentation of contacts, orders, requests, etc.
  • Utilize all available sales tools to maximize sales efficiency (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Lead generate and work with Field BioAnalytics teams and Product specialists

  • Professional or educational background in scientific field (e.g., Life Science, Biology or Business-related education)
  • First working experience within sales processes, including opportunity qualification, planning and sales negotiation with the ability to independently close deals with customers
  • Strong understanding capabilities, collaboration potential, innovation capabilities, and achievement drive
  • Demonstrated track record for consultative interactions with customers, prospective customers, and fellow employees
  • Good presentation / communication skills over phone & Video Conferencing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Dutch would be an asset
